Responsibilities include verifying insurance, calculating patient estimates, and collecting amounts due while delivering compassionate, accurate service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months customer service required.
• Knowledge of computers and other standard office equipment required.
• Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute required.

Responsibilities

• Registration of patients presenting to Freeman Health System.
• Conducts patient interviews to obtain registration information, complete required forms and obtain signatures.
• Initiates financial counseling process. Collects monies owed.
• Verifies insurance at point of service and calculates patient estimates.
