Job summary

Jefferson Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice, is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to coordinate timely patient appointments across multiple CT/MRI sites in Connecticut. You will manage scheduling for Mammography, Bone Density, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine and liaise with referring physicians to ensure seamless patient care.

Ideal candidates will have experience with medical scheduling or billing, excellent communication, and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Experience with scheduling and/or medical billing application preferred
• Excellent dictation, communication skills, and telephone manner
• Good understanding of ICD coding preferred
• Knowledge of medical insurance preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and effective scheduling of patients for multiple offices and modalities
• Demonstrate an understanding of modalities offered at site location and hours of operations
• Modalities include Mammography, Bone Density, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine
• Direct patient and referring physician contact and represent the practice in a pleasant and professional manner
