• Accurate demographic data entry and complete visit information.
• Ability to identify and verify insurance eligibility and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Register / Register Patients and accurately identify correct medical records and visits.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits and determine correct plan identification.
• Secure and/or verify any required authorizations to prevent charge denials.
• Enter physician orders into the relevant systems and ensure Medical Necessity is met.
• Identify and collect patient financial responsibility and direct to financial assistance when needed.
