• Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits; identifies authorization requirements prior to service.
• Calculates and communicates patient out-of-pocket costs using estimation tools.
• Distributes regulatory documents to patients and ensures understanding and compliance.
• Operates registration software and hardware and uses electronic health record systems.
• Provides hospitality and concierge support to enhance the patient experience.
• Coordinates with provider offices to secure required clinical documentation for day-of-service readiness.
• Collaborates with Imaging, Lab, and Nursing to resolve registration and scheduling issues.
• Addresses registration quality alerts to help reduce denials.
