Ochsner is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to assess patients and perform routine radiographic procedures in accordance with safety protocols. The role includes mentoring junior staff, maintaining quality standards, and adapting to a flexible schedule with potential travel between facilities.

The ideal candidate has completed an approved radiologic technology program, holds ARRT certification or registry eligibility, and maintains an active state license with BLS certification.

Competenze

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification or registry eligible with registration within 90 days of employment and temporary state license.
• Current unrestricted license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.

• Verifies physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
• Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
