Job summary

Sequoia Care in Florida is hiring licensed Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) to deliver hands-on therapeutic support under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. We offer flexible scheduling or consistent hours, with opportunities tailored to your needs and a focus on resident-centered care.

The role requires an associate degree from an accredited PTA program, and experience in senior living or similar settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Senior living experience preferred.
• Ability to be accredited by all insurance payers.
• CPR certification may be required by facility or state guidelines.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, team-oriented and resident-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by a Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document resident progress and response to treatment.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and safe movement techniques.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with Florida state and federal guidelines.
