Job summary

Sequoia Care in Florida is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for part-time, on-site work to support residents in senior living, long-term care, and home health settings.

You will deliver hands-on therapy under supervision, implement treatment plans, monitor progress, educate residents and caregivers, and maintain accurate documentation, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Florida licensure as PTA (as required by state).
• CFPR certification as required by facility or state guidelines.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by a Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document resident progress and response to treatment.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and safe movement techniques.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with Florida state and federal guidelines.
