Sequoia Care in Florida is seeking licensed Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) to provide hands-on therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This PRN, on-site role serves residents in senior living communities across Florida, with flexible scheduling options.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, educating residents and caregivers, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Senior living or similar experience preferred.
• CPR certification as required.
• Ability to be accredited by all insurance payers.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by a Physical Therapist
• Monitor and document resident progress and response to treatment
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and safe movement techniques
• Communicate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with Florida state and federal guidelines
