Job summary

Advanced Care Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated Staff Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide individualized treatment for orthopedic, musculoskeletal, neurological, balance, post-surgical, and other conditions.

This position welcomes experienced PTAs and new graduates eager to develop clinical skills in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current NYS PTA license or eligibility.
• Ability to work in a busy, team-oriented outpatient environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions under supervision.
• Deliver therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and gait training.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising PT.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Maintain a positive, patient-centered clinical environment.
• Participate in team meetings, mentorship, and professional development.
• Contribute to teamwork, clinical excellence, and patient service.
