Job summary

ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance, a member of Therapy Partners Group, seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to support therapists in outpatient orthopedic care. You will perform therapeutic exercises, assist in treatment planning, and help educate patients under supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to licensure as a PTA.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and education.
• Documentation: Use Raintree to monitor and report patient progress during treatment sessions.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management, and care plans.
• Professional Atmosphere: Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety.
