Job summary

Purposelink Recruitment in Florida seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver evidence-based rehabilitation services that help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function.

The position offers a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with a 1-hour lunch break, full-time on-site employment.

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher required.
Current Florida PTA license required.
Minimum 1 year of orthopedic rehabilitation experience.
Minimum 1 year of clinical documentation or medical coding experience.

Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed PT.
Implement individualized treatment programs with exercises and manual techniques.
Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising PT.
Assist with reassessments, data collection, and progression within scope.
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home programs.
Maintain compliant clinical documentation.
Follow rehabilitation protocols and pathways.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
Participate in care planning and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure patient safety and adherence to policies.
Support clinic operations and coverage as needed.
Meet productivity standards while delivering care.
