Job summary

Mountain View Pain Center is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant in Colorado Springs, CO. The team delivers outpatient multidisciplinary care including orthopedic, vestibular, and neurological patients, with growth in pelvic floor therapy.

This role emphasizes movement-as-medicine and collaborative treatment to help patients reach their goals. Applicants must hold an active Colorado PTA license, a current BLS certification (hybrid-friendly), and comply with licensure standards.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado State License in Physical Therapy.
• Colorado PTA license required before first day of hire.
• BLS Certification required, hybrid or in-person.
• Compliance with PTA licensure standards.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the Physical Therapist any pertinent information concerning patient progress, problems and plans.
• Participate in patient plan of care meetings and communicate with the Physical Therapist any pertinent information concerning patient progress, problems and plan.
• Record treatment notes and complete notes in a timely manner per policy and procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Recommend any needed equipment to the Physical Therapist.
• Accept other duties assigned.
• Exercise good judgment in the performance of the job and be able to progress and regress patients as needed.
• Successfully incorporate technology into daily practice as deemed by the Company.
