Job summary

Top Echelon LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to work in outpatient settings in Montour Falls, NY. You will support a licensed Physical Therapist in delivering patient-centered care, implementing treatment plans, and guiding patients through exercises and activities of daily living.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, communicating with the supervising PT, and assisting with discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Licensure: NYS PTA license or eligibility.
• Certification: CPR Certification.
• Training: yearly safety trainings and HealthStream e-Learning.
• Experience: outpatient/clinical experience preferred; new grads considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist with implementing treatment plans to meet patient goals.
• Instruct and assist with therapeutic exercises and activities of daily living.
• Assist with use of assistive devices and orthotics.
• Administer modalities (hot/cold packs, ultrasound, E-stim) as directed.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to PT.
• Document care and charges in EMR.
• Ensure compliance with NY state requirements and safety standards.
