Golden Bear Physical Therapy, a member of Therapy Partners Group, seeks an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team serving the Central Valley, El Dorado County, and surrounding communities for over 40 years. We provide high-quality, individualized care and a collaborative professional environment.

The PTA will assist therapists, develop treatment plans, and support patient education and progress documentation, in a dynamic outpatient setting with opportunities for growth and CEU

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsabilités

• Patient FollowUp: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions using the EMR, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans.
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
