Job summary

Boston Medical Center's Winthrop Clinic is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist in Outpatient Rehabilitation to evaluate and treat adults and pediatric patients with physical and functional deficits. You will plan individualized treatment programs, document findings, and coordinate with the care team to promote mobility, reduce pain, and restore independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Commonwealth of Massachusetts Physical Therapy license by time of hire.
• CPR certification required by time of hire.
• APTA/MCAPTA membership preferred.
• New grads welcome; experienced therapists encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations and document findings in a timely manner.
• Establish measurable treatment goals and plans in collaboration with patient and caregiver.
• Implement individual and group PT treatments; adjust plans based on patient progress.
• Educate patients and caregivers on management, home programs, and safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliant with policies; participate in quality improvement.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapist Assistants and students; participate in department meetings.
