Job summary

Brooks Rehabilitation in Kissimmee, FL seeks a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Outpatient team. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaborative learning, and delivering quality outcomes in a dynamic setting.

You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized plans, participate in progressive treatment, document accurately, and communicate with patients, families, and physicians.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Physical Therapist license.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care for a variety of rehabilitation diagnoses.
• Provide a positive patient experience through patient engagement and progressive treatment techniques.
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with patients, families, physicians, and team members.
• Promote evidence-based patient care and best clinical practices.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with organizational, state, and federal requirements.
• Complete patient evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Perform re-evaluations and modify plans of care as appropriate.
• Participate in all aspects of patient care management and progression through the rehabilitation process.
• Function under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
