Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist to join a supportive outpatient team in Ithaca, NY. You will evaluate and treat patients across orthopedic and general outpatient conditions, developing individualized plans within a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred.
• Must hold or be eligible for a valid Physical Therapist license in NY at the time of hire.
• DPT or equivalent from an accredited program is required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Strong communication and collaboration with patients and team members.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapies and modalities (e.g., ultrasound, heat/ice, electrical stimulation).
• Educate patients on exercises, posture, and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Document progress notes and discharge summaries per policy.
• Maintain infection control and a safe clinical environment.
