Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient therapy team. You will treat patients, guide recovery plans, and work with a multidisciplinary group to improve outcomes while growing your clinical skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree (minimum) in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Certificate as Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Indiana and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients referred to the Physical Therapy department.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, therapy plans, and home exercises.
• Document progress notes accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in staff meetings and case management.
• Supervise rehab techs, and volunteers.
• Participate in departmental initiatives and student programs.
