Job summary

Qualifications

• Two-year accredited PTA program (APTA-approved).
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the relevant state.
• CPR certification renewed every two years.

Responsibilities

• Carry out physical therapy programs as directed by the physical therapist, training patients in exercises, ambulation, and activities of daily living.
• Collect clinical assessment scores, radiographic scores, and health-related quality of life information.
• Perform a wide range of tests and evaluations in clinical or research settings, including motor skills, reflexes, strength, and range of motion.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
• Assist with research protocols; ensure data quality; develop educational materials.
• Participate in staff meetings and in-service trainings.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work.
