Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a part-time Staff Physical Therapist for the Outpatient clinic in Dorchester, MA. The role focuses on comprehensive assessments, planning and delivering PT treatments to promote mobility and independence, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team for discharge and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Commonwealth of Massachusetts physical therapy license by time of hire.
• CPR certification required.
• New grads welcome; experienced therapists encouraged to apply.
• APTA and MCAPTA membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive PT evaluations for inpatients and outpatients.
• Develops and implements individual and group PT treatment plans.
• Educates patients and caregivers on care plans and home programs.
• Collaborates with the care team to coordinate follow-up and discharge planning.
• Ensures timely documentation of evaluations and treatments.
