Job summary

Management Performance Associates in East Chicago, IN seeks a Psychiatrist for outpatient care. This full-time, permanent role features Monday–Friday scheduling with weekend/holiday rounding on a 1:8 or better rotation, and supports practice design within a tech-forward environment.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible by ABPN with a plan for certification within a defined timeframe.
• Unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills and EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic interviews and mental status examinations, to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, evaluating efficacy and side effects to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize psychotherapeutic methods in conjunction with pharmacological treatments to manage acute and chronic mental health conditions.
• Partner with primary care, social work, and nursing teams to provide integrated behavioral health support across clinical settings.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and participate in clinical quality reviews to enhance patient safety and care standards.
