Job summary

Optum AZ seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for outpatient Primary Care in Tucson, AZ. You will work in a value-based care model with EPIC EMR, Dragon dictation and a dedicated MA team to support patient flow.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with 36 patient-contact hours per week and 18–22 patients daily. Relocation funds are available; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Arizona NP or PA license or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• National NP certification through AANC or AANP, or PA certification through NCCPA.
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain by start date.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain by start date.

Responsibilities

• Practice outpatient Primary Care at full scope of license, focusing on value-based care.
• Full-time, Monday through Friday.
• 36 patient contact hours per week; 18–22 patients per day.
• Protected administrative time to balance workload.
• Onsite lab and pharmacy resource support for refills.
