Job summary

OptumCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Primary Care (Outpatient) to join our Tucson, AZ team. This is a full-time outpatient role supporting value-based care with a dedicated MA team, 36 patient contact hours weekly, and 18–22 patients per day.

You’ll work with EPIC EMR (Dragon dictation and AI notetaking) and have opportunities for professional growth through Optum's Clinical Academy and Provider Development Institute.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona NP or PA license before start date.
• National NP certification through AANC or AANP, or NCCPA for PA.
• Current DEA registration by start date.
• Current BLS certification by start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care within full license scope in a value-based model.
• Manage about 18–22 patient visits per day over 36 contact hours weekly.
• Utilize EPIC EMR with Dragon dictation and AI notetaking; collaborate with MA team.
• Relocation funds available and opportunities for professional growth.
