Job summary

Colorado Urologic Surgery Center - St. Anthony's is hiring a PREOP/PACU Registered Nurse to deliver continuity of nursing care for patients before and after anesthesia in an outpatient setting.

The role includes coordinating assessments, planning, and discharge readiness, and assisting physicians with procedures and conscious sedation as needed. Strong communication and critical thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state is required.
• BLS and ACLS are required; PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years PACU or critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients in PreOp/PACU.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and family needs for discharge preparation.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and sterile technique.
