Job summary

Colorado Urologic Surgery Center - St. Anthony's is seeking a PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse to provide continuous, high-quality nursing care for patients from preoperative through PACU.

The role includes evaluating patient conditions, ensuring safety, comfort and privacy, and assisting physicians with procedures as needed. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited RN program with an active Colorado RN license and BLS/ACLS certification; PALS may be required by the center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required; PALS if required by the center.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients with ongoing evaluation of condition, safety, comfort, and privacy.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and sterile techniques as deemed appropriate.
• Provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from anesthesia and/or sedation; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient and family in preparation for discharge.
