MaineGeneral Health is seeking an Outpatient Practice Coding Supervisor to oversee practice coding and lead HIM staff. The role involves staffing coordination, mentoring, and ensuring policy adherence within a healthcare environment.

Ideal candidates have hands-on leadership experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and an associate degree in Health Information Management with AHIMA or AAPC certification preferred.

Formación

  • Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and support skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Associate’s degree in Health Information Management preferred.
  • AHIMA or AAPC certification preferred.
  • Previous HIM experience is strongly desired.

The Role: Outpatient Practice Coding Supervisor

The Opportunity:

MaineGeneral Health is seeking a Outpatient Practice Coding Supervisor to join our team! This position will be responsible for oversight of practice coding.

The Work:

  • Supervises daily staff activities for an assigned area or function in HIM

You Have:

  • Hands-on experience leading a team

  • Associate’s degree in Health Information Management preferred
  • Certification by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)or by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) preferred
  • Previous HIM experience is strongly desired
Compensation Information:

$27.55 - $48.21

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
