Job summary

PNW Spine & Joint Physicians in Portland, OR, is seeking an outpatient PM&R physician to join a small, physician-owned practice focused on non-surgical spine and musculoskeletal care.

The role includes office-based and telehealth visits, interventional procedures under fluoroscopy/ultrasound, and a supportive team emphasizing quality patient care. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with 30–40 hours per week and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Willing or experienced in spine and joint procedures under fluoroscopy/ultrasound.
• Interest in orthobiologic therapies is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and management of new and follow-up patients with spine, joint, and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Up to 10–12 patients per clinical day with longer visit times.
• Performing interventional spine and/or musculoskeletal procedures under fluoroscopy and/or ultrasound.
• Performing musculoskeletal-focused electrodiagnostic studies.
• Performing orthobiologic procedures or developing skills in orthobiologic treatments.
• Comprehensive histories and physical examinations with appropriate plans of care.
• Ordering and interpreting imaging and diagnostic studies.
• Prescribing non-opioid medications; no long-term opioid management.
• Coordinating care for patients injured in motor vehicle collisions.
• Collaborating with physical therapists, chiropractors, surgeons, and other providers.
• Communicating clearly with patients and referring providers.
• Completing medical documentation in a timely manner.
• Contributing to an efficient, collaborative, and solution-oriented practice.
