Job summary

Welltech Partners in Sacramento, CA seeks a PM&R physician for an outpatient multispecialty clinic. This 100% outpatient role includes no hospital rounds, no on-call duties, and no nights, promoting work-life balance.

Responsibilities include evaluating musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions, building personalized rehab plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. CA license and PM&R fellowship required; competitive comp with RVU incentives.

Qualifications

• CA medical license — active by start date
• Current DEA registration
• Completed Specialist or Fellowship Training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in PM&R is a plus

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and neurologic conditions in an outpatient setting
• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation and pain management treatment plans
• Apply evidence‑based PM&R care to a caseload of 16–22 patients per day
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team across occupational medicine, interventional pain management, and internal medicine
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with applicable standards
• Participate in the continued growth and development of the PM&R service line
