Boston Medical Center's Winthrop Clinic is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist for outpatient care in Boston, MA. This position is 40 hours per week, with reporting to the Rehabilitation Therapies Supervisor.

You will assess outpatients, develop individualized treatment plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure effective discharge planning. New grads welcome; MA license and CPR required by time of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution by time of hire.
• Massachusetts license by time of hire.
• CPR certification by time of hire.
• New grads welcome; experienced therapists encouraged to apply.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations and plan treatments to promote mobility and independence.
• Educate patients and caregivers on evaluation findings and care recommendations.
• Establish and monitor measurable short- and long-term treatment goals with patient/caregiver.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure follow-up care and discharge planning.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation according to department standards.
