Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist for outpatient services at the Hyde Park Clinic in Boston, MA. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, plan and implement PT treatments to promote mobility, reduce pain, and restore independence, while collaborating with other disciplines to ensure appropriate follow-up care and safe return to home and work.

The role supports student training, ongoing education, and professional growth, with a 40-hour workweek (Mon–Fri).

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Massachusetts license or ability to obtain by time of hire.
• CPR certification by time of hire.
• APTA/MCAPTA membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical therapy evaluation procedures according to guidelines.
• Establishes treatment goals and plans aligned with patient needs and reimbursement.
• Implements individual and group treatment with clinical competence.
• Complies with departmental and accreditation standards.
• Engages in ongoing professional growth and knowledge of regulations.
• Participates in development and evaluation of PT programs.
• Collaborates to provide high-quality patient care.
• Supervises PT students and orients staff and community.
