Job summary

Hospital for Special Care in New Britain, CT, is seeking a licensed physical therapist to evaluate, plan, implement, and document goal-oriented interventions across musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary domains. Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PT program with minimum Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate.
• Current Connecticut licensure.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: CPR certification.
• Preferred: APTA membership.
• Preferred: MHS or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, implement and document PT interventions per goals.
• Supervise PT assistants, rehab aides, volunteers and students.
• Educate staff, patients and families; participate in discharge planning.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
