Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health's St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH seeks a Physical Therapist for outpatient services. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, providing initial and ongoing assessments and skilled therapeutic interventions across outpatient, inpatient, pediatrics, and off-site locations.

You'll supervise physical therapist assistants, document progress in EMR, maintain productivity, and uphold safety and infection control standards in a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice or eligible for traineeship or temporary license.
• BLS certification preferred; must obtain within stated timeframe if required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, develops and revises treatment plans with goals.
• Provides direct therapy daily according to plan of care and standards.
• Maintains records of treatment and patient progress in EMR; supports co-signature when needed.
• Maintains productivity while ensuring quality care and safety.
• Upholds departmental safety, infection control, and compliance requirements.
• Supervises physical therapist assistants’ interventions and growth.
