Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide clinical coverage across multiple outpatient clinics in the Carolinas region. The role focuses on age-appropriate care, comprehensive evaluations, and collaborative care planning with a strong emphasis on documentation and patient education.

Licensure in the state, BLS certification, and ongoing continuing education are required. The position offers full-time hours with a 1st shift schedule and competitive pay within the posted range.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapy License in the state of employment.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Continuing education requirements as mandated by state standards.
• DPT preferred or educational requirements aligned with graduation date.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate patient care across clinics in the north region.
• Perform patient evaluations and develop musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary and integumentary assessments.
• Establish and monitor patient care plans and functional goals.
• Educate patients and caregivers with discharge instructions and home programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure billing and compliance per policies.
