BayFront Health Ambulatory in Riverview, FL is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with functional impairments related to injury or disease. The role involves developing and updating treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal functional outcomes.

The full-time position features typical outpatient rehab duties, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with emphasis on patient education and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from an approved program.
• Maintains current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida. Temporary permits are acceptable.
• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and gathers data from patients, physicians, and team members.
• Develops treatment plans with specific goals and objectives.
• Operates and maintains therapy equipment, ensuring safety.
• Provides age-appropriate care and re-evaluates plans as needed.
• Documents care and ensures correct billing.
• Educates patients and families as indicated.
• Maintains attendance and complies with policies.
