Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in outpatient settings across New Jersey.

You will design and implement plans of care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve function and reduce pain. Required are a Doctoral/Master’s/Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy, BLS and CPR certifications, and a PA or NJ PT license.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree, Masters or Bachelor's in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent, required upon hire or within 30 days.
• Current Physical Therapist license in PA or NJ based on work location.
• One year of outpatient PT experience; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and develop treatment plans to improve movement and reduce pain.
• Provide skilled interventions using appropriate techniques, modalities, and equipment.
• Collaborate with patients to set short and long-term goals.
• Communicate with patients, families, and other providers ensuring confidentiality and informed consent.
• Supervise PTAs and students as assigned; participate in quality improvement activities.
