Job summary

Indiana University Health System seeks a dedicated physical therapist for the Outpatient PT team at IU Health-Morgan. This full-time position provides services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability, while supervising assistants and students to support patient care and education.

The candidate must have a PT Doctoral or a pre-2016 Bachelor’s/Master’s in PT, Iowa license in Indiana, and BLS; advanced life support may be required by the unit.

Qualifications

• Requires Doctoral Degree from an accredited PT program or a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Physical Therapy prior to 2016.
• If foreign trained, graduation from a PT program outside the US with equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA; Advanced life support may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability.
• Supervise physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students.
• Participate in activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.
