Job summary

PeaceHealth United General Medical Center in Sedro Woolley, WA is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range is $48.52–$72.78 per hour. Hiring bonus and relocation assistance may be available.

The role involves evaluating patients, planning care, and supervising students or assistants as needed, within the PT scope and licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy or closely related field (foreign equivalent accepted)
• Physical Therapist License for the State of Washington
• Basic Life Support certification required upon hire

Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients and establishes a treatment plan and goals, using data from patient records, interviews, observation, and team members
• Provides patient treatment according to plan of care and updates plan as appropriate
• Completes documentation accurately and timely, according to regulatory and licensure requirements
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuous care and coordinates with nursing, medical and other therapy staff
• May mentor and provide oversight to new caregivers, therapists, and aides; provides clinical instruction to students
• Recommends and participates in development of new services, quality improvements and monitoring activities
• Participates in staff meetings, patient care meetings, and caregiver orientation and education
