Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Dallas, TX is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to support outpatient orthopedic and sports rehabilitation services under the supervision of a licensed PT.

The role focuses on implementing therapy plans, coordinating with the supervising PT, and educating patients and families; CPR/BLS certification is required or obtainable within 90 days of employment. This position offers flexible PRN hours to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
• Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of a licensed PT, assists with the implementation of the therapy plan of care.
• Responsible for delegation and direction of supportive personnel for those assigned patients, in order to enhance patient care services.
• Consistently communicates with supervising PT regarding scheduled patients to ensure assessment and reassessment of patients, modification of treatment plans and other interventions requiring therapist direction.
• Participates in education of patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, within the scope of practice.

Baylor Scott & White Rehabilitation in Dallas, located on W. Camp Wisdom Rd. and Hwy 67 is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to add to our team. We provide outpatient physcial therapy services focusing on adult general orthopedics and sports rehabilitation for the people in our community.
