Job description

Join our team as an Outpatient Physical Therapist at TieTalent.

We apply research and clinical expertise to deliver comprehensive outpatient services, including evaluation and ongoing treatment for arthritis, back and neck pain, sports injuries, and other conditions affecting function and mobility. We also teach patients to prevent or manage health conditions and pain.

Our welcoming gym provides ample space for patients to relax and focus on their treatment. As a therapist, you will provide care and expertise to help patients return to their daily activities.

General Summary

We seek a self-motivated Physical Therapist responsible for providing evidence-based care in a hospital-based outpatient clinic. The therapist evaluates, develops, and implements treatment programs tailored to each patient, collaborating with families, physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health professionals.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or Doctorate preferred
• Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy License required
• 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but not mandatory
• Outpatient orthopaedic experience preferred
• APTA membership recommended

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical status and mobility
• Set realistic goals and develop plans of care for musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary systems
• Implement treatment plans effectively
• Accurately document and bill for services
• Perform as per Outpatient Physical Therapy Competencies
• Supervise and mentor students, PTAs, and support staff

• Strong interpersonal skills, including communication, flexibility, and teamwork
• Ability to work effectively with patients with various disabilities
• Capable of independent treatment in diverse settings
• Physically able to lift, position, push, and transfer patients and equipment
• Provide occupational therapy interventions across the lifespan
