Summary of Job Duties: Join our outpatient therapy, community fitness, and sports medicine team! SIGN-ON BONUS AVAILABLE

This position is located in Midtown on the UAMS Campus and involves treating a general PT population, including aging adults, orthopedics, and neurodegenerative conditions. We value mentorship, continuing education, and maintaining a healthy caseload for individualized care.

The outpatient physical therapist conducts evaluations, collaborates with clients and their families to set goals, customizes interventions, and assesses progress to ensure optimal outcomes. Functional data is collected through patient questionnaires, performance measures, and documented interventions.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (prior to 2002) OR Master’s degree (prior to 2016) OR Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Arkansas State Board

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy plus 2 years of outpatient experience
  • Experience with orthopedic and neurodegenerative conditions
  • Certifications such as OCS, CSCS, DN

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, create care plans, coordinate, educate, and treat patients based on best practices
  • Document patient care for insurance and compliance standards
  • Collaborate with referring providers and communicate patient progress
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience
