Job summary

Glen Oaks Hospital in Greenville, Texas, seeks a Program Therapist to support biopsychosocial care for adults and seniors. You will provide clinical social work services, crisis intervention, and family-focused therapy within a collaborative team of psychiatrists, nurses, social workers and therapists.

The role requires a Master's in Social Work, state licensure, CPR and de-escalation training, and at least three years in a psychiatric setting. Flexible hours and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or clinical related mental health field required.
• Minimum of three years experience in psychiatric health care facility with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills.
• State certification in social work or clinical related mental health field; LPC-A, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW license required.
• CPR certification and Verbal De-Escalation training within 30 days of employment; Handle With Care training.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in meeting biopsychosocial needs and enable access to therapeutic treatment skills.
• Provide basic consultation, teaching, and specialized clinical social work services for patients and families.
• Perform crisis intervention and both short-term and long-term family therapy.
• Provide information and referrals as needed.
