Singing River Health System is seeking an Outpatient Phlebotomist to join our laboratory team at Ocean Springs Hospital. The role involves performing venipunctures and specimen collection, labeling, transport, and coordinating with clinicians to ensure accurate test processing.

This position requires high school completion, plus phlebotomy experience. The successful candidate will work a Monday–Friday shift, may rotate holidays, and travel between SRHS laboratories as needed.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent; health/science coursework preferred.
• 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred; relevant training accepted.
• Valid driver license may be required for travel between sites.

Responsabilidades

• Perform venipunctures, heel and finger sticks and specimen collections.
• Transport and label specimens accurately to the laboratory.
• Prepare specimens for pre-test processing and testing.
• Enter orders and communicate results to nurses and physicians.
• Complete clerical duties and maintain proper patient identification.
