JobRx, Inc. in Milwaukee area is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to coordinate daily operations of the technician staff at the assigned location. You will serve as a daily resource for technicians and assist the pharmacist in processing medication orders and monitoring drug therapy.

40 hours per week
Shift 4: 8‑hour shifts between 6:00 am–11:00 pm. Weekend rotation roughly every 4–6 weeks and some holidays. Traveling between 8 outpatient pharmacies located in Oak Creek, New Berlin, Milwaukee, and Wauwatosa.
Coordinates the daily operations of the pharmacy technician staff at the assigned location. Acts as a daily resource for the technicians and provides guidance regarding technical and operational information. In addition, provides technical and clerical assistance to the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders and the monitoring of drug therapy. May procure, measure, compound, count, and deliver medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. Functions within the guidelines of the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code – Pharmacy Examining Board – Pharmacy Practice Sections. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
Leadership training is preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills. Proven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group. Proven attention to detail. Outstanding organizational and follow‑up skills. Proven leadership skills. Experience with various computer systems and programs.
Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board exam (PTCE) or the National Healthcareer Association’s exam (ExCPT) is required within 6 months of hire.
