JobRx, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to coordinate daily operations at Froedtert West Bend Hospital.
In this role, you will support the pharmacy technician staff and assist the pharmacist with medication orders while ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of pharmacy technician experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as excellent customer service and communication skills.

Location: US:WI:WEST BEND at our FROEDTERT WEST BEND HOSPITAL facility.
Job Type: on‑site
Sign‑on Bonus: $5,000
Working 8‑hour shifts between 8:00am and 7:00pm. Weekend rotation roughly every 4‑6 weeks and some holidays. Traveling between 5 outpatient pharmacies located in Menomonee Falls, Mequon, and West Bend.
Coordinates the daily operations of the pharmacy technician staff at the assigned location. Acts as a daily resource for the technicians and provides guidance regarding technical and operational information. In addition, provides technical and clerical assistance to the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders and the monitoring of drug therapy. May procure, measure, compound, count, and deliver medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. Functions within the guidelines of the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code – Pharmacy Examining Board – Pharmacy Practice Sections. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
Leadership training is preferred.
Application for Wisconsin registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required by hire date and must be obtained within 12 months of hire. Staff hired into this role prior to 3/31/23 must have applied for Wisconsin registration by 3/31/23 and have until 3/31/24 to obtain registration. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board exam (PTCE) or the National Healthcareer Association exam (ExCPT) is required within 6 months of hire.
