Job summary
Allina Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Minnesota pharmacy team. Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will perform prescription filling, inventory management, and provide courteous customer service to patients and staff.
You will entry orders into the pharmacy management system, assist with audits, and support department quality assurance while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description.
- Preferred 1+ year of pharmacy technician experience.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician - MN Board of Pharmacy required upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Prescription Filling and order entry into pharmacy management software.
- Fulfilment of reviewed orders and final dispense according to disposition.
- Maintains inventory by restocking medications and restocking automated dispensing robots.
- Provides service to internal and external customers and greets patients with courtesy.
- Performs quality assurance activities and reports discrepancies to the pharmacist.
