UCHealth Memorial Hospital North in Colorado Springs seeks a Pharmacy Technician to manage automated dispensing systems and perform sterile and non-sterile compounding. The role emphasizes medication safety, inventory control, and collaboration with the care team.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and Colorado PHAT certification, or CPhT/PTCB equivalence. This is an onsite full-time position with a pay range of $22.14 to $28.78 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Technician certification from Colorado Board of Pharmacy (PHAT).
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) by Pharmacy Technician Certification PTCB) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) to ensure unit-specific medication is safely available.
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding and bulk medication repackaging while maintaining adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular audits of medication inventory to identify expired or near-expired items, ensuring prompt removal and replacement.

Education

High School diploma or GED.

Pharmacy Technician certification from Colorado Board of Pharmacy (PHAT).

Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) by Pharmacy Technician Certification PTCB) or equivalent.
