Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO. The role is an onsite, PRN daytime position with pay between $22.14 and $28.78 per hour, depending on experience.

Requires Colorado PHAT and CPhT credentials, plus high school diploma. Responsibilities include managing ADMs, performing sterile and non-sterile compounding, and conducting routine inventory audits to ensure medication availability and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• PHAT certification from Colorado Board of Pharmacy required.
• CPhT certification (PTCB) or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Manage Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) to ensure unit-specific medications are available.
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding and repackaging following safety standards.
• Conduct regular medication inventory audits and promptly remove or replace expired items.
