Job summary

UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for full-time day and evening rotations. The role includes managing automated dispensing, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and inventory audits to ensure safe medication availability on a unit-specific basis.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and Colorado PHAT certification or PTCB equivalency. Onsite role with a structured career ladder and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Technician certification from Colorado Board of Pharmacy (PHAT).
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) by Pharmacy Technician Certification PTCB) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides top of scope pharmacy support utilizing evidence-based protocols and best practices to promote safety at the point of care
• Value and effectively partner with multidisciplinary team to achieve care outcomes
• Prioritize wellness, a patient perspective and evidence-based practice
• Model proficiency through precepting and mentoring those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth
• Welcomes new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment

Education

High School diploma or GED
