Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at UCHealth Greeley Hospital in Greeley, CO. This onsite position (no remote option) offers a PRN schedule with pay between $22.14 and $28.78 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include operating ADMs, sterile/non-sterile compounding, and inventory audits to maintain safety and quality of care. Minimum requirements include a HS diploma, PHAT certification, and PTCB or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Technician certification from Colorado Board of Pharmacy (PHAT).
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide top of scope pharmacy support using evidence-based protocols and best practices to promote safety at the point of care.
• Partner with multidisciplinary team to achieve care outcomes.
• Prioritize wellness and patient perspective with evidence-based practice.
• Model proficiency through precepting and mentoring new staff.
• Welcome new knowledge in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Contribute to safety and quality solutions at point of care.
• Manage Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) to ensure unit-specific medications are safely available.
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding and bulk medication repackaging adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular audits of medication inventory to identify expired items and ensure prompt removal.

Education
