Job summary

Intermountain Health’s St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, is launching a new outpatient pharmacy and seeks an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to help build workflows and patient care experiences.

You will collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to prepare prescriptions, coordinate medication access, and support patients from intake to dispensing in a retail-like, patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice and drug distribution.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepare medication orders for dispensing and assist with compounding as needed.
• Monitor inventories including controlled substances and 340B/charging management.
• Communicate with caregivers and participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.
• Support pharmacy services across locations (acute, community, ambulatory, specialty).
